PRIVACY POLICY FOR BoldItalic Chrome Extension

1) No Data Collection

The BoldItalic Chrome extension does not collect, store, or transmit any user data, including specifically any personally identifiable information, browsing history, or usage data from the browser or device.

2) Local Processing Only

All processing performed by BoldItalic is done locally on the user's browser and machine. The extension does not communicate with any external servers or third-party services.

3) Permissions

The BoldItalic extension uses only the "storage" permission, and only for the limited purpose of saving the current operating mode of the extension.  Only the "session" storage area is used, and nothing is persisted to disk, but rather is discarded on browser exit.

4) Third-Party Services

BoldItalic does not use third-party analytics or external APIs that collect data. 

5) Policy Updates

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of any changes.
